Brengen wij orde in onze gedachten

Niet woorden tellen nu maar durf
Als wereldburgers kiezen wij Europa
Als Europeanen zijn wij burgers
Als burgers brengen wij orde in onze gedachten
Onze school is de republiek
Onze politiek is deugdzaamheid
Onze democratie leiderschap
Ons menu geen brood en spelen
Onze partij heet ernst
Nu het lachen verstomt
Onze verantwoordelijkheid is oorlog
Onze vrede rechtszekerheid
Wie spreekt telt, wie niet telt zwijgt
Wie offert bedelt niet
Dit is het moment van ons handelen
Nu het burgerschap wankelt
Onze republiek is van deze wereld
Zonder onze wereld geen republiek

To our thoughts let us bring order
This is the single moment we can act
Now words do not count only courage
As citizens of the world we choose Europe
As Europeans we are citizens
As citizens we bring system to our thoughts
Our education is the republic
Our politics is being virtuous
Our democracy means leadership
Our fare not bread and games
Our party is called gravity
Now that laughter falls silent
Our responsibility means war
Our peace is the rule of justice
He who speaks counts – he who does not shuts up
He who sacrifices will not beg
This is the moment of our action
Now that citizenship wavers
Our republic is of this world
Without our world no republic
